Follow these easy steps to get your AEG FAVORIT 88070 i Dishwasher up and running in no time.
Press the ON/OFF button. First, 'HELLO' appears in the display, which is then replaced by 'LANGUAGE ENGLISH' flashing. Use the direction buttons to select the desired language and press the OK/START button to confirm.
To ensure the dishwasher is level, adjust the threaded feet using a screwdriver. This is necessary to compensate for any unevenness in the floor and to match the height of the appliance with surrounding units. Adjust the rear feet from the front of the appliance.
The dishwasher can be connected to cold and hot water supplies up to a maximum of 60°C. Ensure the inlet hose is not kinked, crushed, or entangled when connecting. Connect the threaded hose fitting to a tap with an external thread (¾ inch).
Open the door and remove the lower basket. Unscrew the lid on the salt dispenser by turning it anti-clockwise. For first-time use, fill the dispenser with water. Place the funnel over the dispenser opening and fill it with dishwasher salt (1.0-1.5 kg). Clean any salt remnants and screw the lid back on clockwise. Run a dishwashing cycle after filling.
Open the rinse aid dispenser cap and fill it with rinse aid. The rinse aid is necessary for drying the dishes properly. Do not overfill.
Ensure the electricity supply voltage matches the appliance rating plate. The appliance must be earthed. If the plug is cut off, it must be disposed of safely, and the appliance should be isolated from the mains by removing the plug.
A permanent connection must only be installed by a trained electrician. Ensure the rated voltage and type of supply on the rating plate match the supply where the appliance is to be installed.
